- Electronic Systems Engineer – The Electronic Systems Engineer is responsible for design and development of innovative electronic/electrical hardware and software products that provide high quality and reliable performance to our customers at a competitive cost. The Electronic Systems Engineer also serves as the primary resource for all electronic/electrical applications and as a technical resource for design engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing by participating in design reviews and providing input and review of projects as directed. A qualified candidate will possess a four-year bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, electrical, software, computer engineering, or any closely-related field and a minimum of 3 years of embedded hardware and software experience. A farming background with knowledge of hay tools, spreaders and mixers is preferred.
- Electronic Systems Technician – The Electronic Systems Technician will support the design and development of innovative electronic/electrical hardware and software products that provide high quality and reliable performance to our customers at a competitive cost. This position also serves as a resource for all electronic/electrical applications and lab test controls, and as a technical resource for product evaluation, design engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing by participating in design reviews and providing input and review of projects. The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology Management, or a related field and experience with or an educational emphasis on electronics and control systems. A farming background with knowledge of hay tool, spreader, mixer, seeding, and spraying technologies is preferred.
- Export Sales Support Specialist – The Export Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Company’s export sales goals for products manufactured in North America by working with the Sr. Sales Planning Specialists and Kuhn Group Area Sales Managers to best support our export partner needs. This position is the key contact between the Sales Support Specialists, Logistics Manager, and our export partners. Duties include assisting with expediting export whole goods and parts shipments, preparing proforma invoices, supporting export forecasting and demand planning activities, and facilitating the twelve-month rolling forecasting activities. A bachelor’s degree in ag business, business or international sales and/or a minimum of 3 years international sales support experience is preferred. Knowledge of farming/agriculture industry and experience selling heavy industrial or agricultural equipment is preferred. Knowledge of business management techniques and communications software (ex. Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is preferred.
- Field Product Specialist (Northeast US Region) – The Field Product Specialist supports product sales throughout the region through education, training, feedback, and support of the current and future products marketed by Kuhn North America in the Northeast Region. Duties include leading product training presentations to train dealership and internal personnel, assisting in product demonstration, leading new product introductions, assisting in new business identification opportunities and providing region-specific field feedback and leading customer follow-up on new products. A Bachelor’s Degree in Ag/Mechanical Engineering, Ag Engineering Technology, or Agribusiness and extensive agricultural equipment application and mechanics experience is preferred. Extensive application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), collaboration (Teams), Internet, and e-mail is required.
- Field Support Representative (Northern Wisconsin/Eastern Iowa/Illinois/NW Indiana) – We are currently seeking a Field Support Representative to support dealers in region of Northern Wisconsin/Eastern Iowa/Illinois/NW Indiana, in preventing and solving after sale service issues for products marketed by Kuhn North America. Responsibilities include serving as the after sales service representative for dealers in the region, responding in-person or via telephone to inquiries regarding questions on after sales service issues, product uses or applications, train dealership personnel on KNA services and service of products, supporting regional sales staff by working farm shows and demonstrating products, and perform field service campaigns. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology and knowledge of the ag. equipment industry is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, hydraulics, welding, and torch cutting. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), presentation software (PowerPoint) Internet, and e-mail is preferred. The position requires at least 70% travel in the region and is home-based within the noted region.
- Parts Inventory Planner – The Parts Inventory Planner is responsible for the accurate planning, scheduling, and expediting of service parts to satisfy current customer demand, along with anticipated demand, by utilizing and maintaining electronic tools in addition to product/process knowledge. Responsibilities include ensuring product inventory is appropriate for all distribution channels, reviewing all system reports to determine appropriate action, initiating parts expediting activities, and determining inventory updates based on ECNs. A high school diploma or GED and experience working in an inventory control environment is required. Knowledge of and experience in the areas of customer service, inventory, and logistics is required and experience with ERP/MRP is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet, and e-mail is required.
- Product Evaluation Engineer/Technician – The Product Evaluation Engineer/Technician performs various product performance evaluation and testing activities, including Kuhn/Kuhn Knight/Kuhn Krause products, competitive product benchmarking and new R&D projects. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering or technology is required. Extensive knowledge of material spreading, mixing and hay tool technology is preferred. Knowledge and experience in the areas of farm equipment engineering, testing, mechanics/repair, electricity, hydraulics, and welding is also preferred. 50% travel required.
- Technical Support Specialist (Hay Tools Products) – As a member of the Product Support team, this individual serves as the subject matter expert for set group of products (hay tools) and supports KNA personnel and dealers in resolving after sales service issues. Responsibilities include collaborating with other KNA departments to diagnose & resolve service and performance issues, reviewing and processing warranty claims, developing service bulletins and service instructions, along with creating and presenting training material. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, and hydraulics.
- Territory Manager – Sales (Virginia/South & North Carolina) – We are currently seeking a Territory Manager who will be responsible for the management of all Kuhn North America sales activities in the assigned territory (Virginia, South Carolina & North Carolina) including development of a strong dealer network to achieve market leadership, return on investment, control of assets, and sales objectives. The employee will be responsible for developing and maintaining the dealer network, serving as Company liaison with dealers/customers, leading dealer sales planning to grow territory sales, ensuring dealership sales/service personnel are trained on products and services, and representing Company at farm and equipment shows. The successful candidate will demonstrate his/her ability to be an independent, self-starter through the use of effective communication and organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering or business and a minimum of five years experience in sales within a dealer-oriented industry is preferred. Knowledge of agricultural and equipment industry, marketing and business management techniques, and communications software (ex: Microsoft Office, etc.) is required. The position is home office based in the assigned sales territory.
- Tooling Designer/Engineer – The Tooling Designer utilizes CAD software extensively and occasionally hand sketches to design welding, machining, and assembly fixtures for manufacturing. Duties include designing fixtures and tooling in Pro Engineer/CREO and making detailed 2D prints of all components; fabricating or modifying custom equipment, fixtures, and tooling for use in manufacturing; and introducing tooling and fixturing designs to custom fabrication and production and training employees on its proper use. Advanced education in engineering or manufacturing or three years’ experience in manufacturing required. The position requires and bachelor’s or associate’s degree in mechanical or agricultural engineering and knowledge and basic skills in the areas of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and CAD software. Pro Engineer/CREO experience is preferred.
- Warehouse Manager – The Warehouse Manager is responsible for controlling and directing the receiving, storage and distribution of all raw, work-in-process, and finished goods material to and from the warehouses. This includes personnel and equipment initiatives to optimize safe, timely, and cost-effective product output by the Company. Duties include developing/maintaining supply chain strategies/goals, ensuring accountability for controlled inventory and finished goods shipping/warehousing and supervising shipping/warehouse employees and facilities. A bachelor’s degree in business or a related degree program and/or a minimum of five years shipping and warehouse management experience is preferred. Knowledge of farming/agriculture, experience in the heavy industrial or agricultural equipment industry, and knowledge of MS Office and computer system application in warehouse management is also preferred.
