- Dealer Development Specialist – Channel Management – The Electronic Systems Technician will support the design and development of innovative electronic/electrical hardware and software products that provide high quality and reliable performance to our customers at a competitive cost. This position also serves as a resource for all electronic/electrical applications and lab test controls, and as a technical resource for product evaluation, design engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing by participating in design reviews and providing input and review of projects. The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology Management, or a related field and experience with or an educational emphasis on electronics and control systems. A farming background with knowledge of hay tool, spreader, mixer, seeding, and spraying technologies is preferred.
- Design Engineer – This position is responsible for design and development of components and subsystems based on customer needs, manufacturability, safety, and cost, including development and maintenance of BOMs for new and existing assemblies and products. Proficiency in CAD (Pro-E/CREO) and knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and machining is essential. A farm background is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering and ag/industrial design engineering experience is required.

- Maintenance Manager – The Maintenance Manager plans, directs and coordinates various duties related to maintenance, repair services, and infrastructure improvements of land, plant, and equipment at the Brodhead campus. A Bachelor’s Degree in industrial technology, manufacturing engineering or other related degree with 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience is preferred or a vocational diploma in electro/mechanical maintenance and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of maintenance and repair experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience is acceptable. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in manufacturing equipment, such as electro-mechanical maintenance and repair of machine tools (including CNC), 480 volt 3 phase electrical power systems, hydraulic repairs & operating knowledge of fabrication tools (presses, shears, brakes & welders), HVAC system repair, basic plumbing, PC controls/diagnostics/troubleshooting, AC/DC servo drives & electric motors, overhead crane inspection/repair and paint systems troubleshooting/repair is required. Strong expertise in preventive maintenance strategies and their application in a manufacturing environment and a proven track record of reducing downtime and improving machinery efficiency through preventive measures is preferred.
- Manufacturing Engineer – The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for agricultural equipment. This role assists in ensuring products are built efficiently, safely, and quality standards by working closely with senior engineers and production teams. The successful candidate will partner with the Manufacturing Cell Manager to improve worker productivity and production output and quality by improving manufacturing capabilities, including methods, processes, machine designs, tooling and fixturing, equipment, new manufacturing technology, and performance measurement systems. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural, manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering and/or one to three years engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment is preferred. Technical competency in steel fabrication, welding, machining, or paint finishing and thorough knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes is also required. 3-D CAD experience is required (Pro-E Creo is preferred).
- Manufacturing Engineer (Fabrication Focus) – The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and sustainability of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, forming, and welding, to ensure efficient and high-quality production of agricultural equipment. This role is responsible for driving improvements in fabrication throughput, quality, and tooling design, while supporting both new and existing product lines. Duties include development and optimization of fabrication processes for structural steel and sheet metal components, design and improvement of jigs, fixtures, and tooling, driving continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework, collaboration with product engineering on design for manufacturability, programming and/or of CNC plasma/laser cutters, press brakes, and repeatable parts for robotic welding cells, conducting time studies, capacity analysis, and workflow assessments, supporting the implementation of capital equipment projects, including machine selection, layout, and installation, and root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural, manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering and five or more years engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment is required. Strong technical competency in steel fabrication, welding, machining, or paint finishing and thorough knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes is also required. 3-D CAD experience is required (Pro-E Creo is preferred).
- Product Evaluation Engineer/Technician – The Product Evaluation Engineer/Technician performs various product performance evaluation and testing activities, including Kuhn/Kuhn Knight/Kuhn Krause products, competitive product benchmarking and new R&D projects. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering or technology is required. Extensive knowledge of material spreading, mixing and hay tool technology is preferred. Knowledge and experience in the areas of farm equipment engineering, testing, mechanics/repair, electricity, hydraulics, and welding is also preferred. 50% travel required.
- Robotic Weld Engineer – The Robotic Weld Engineer is responsible to support the development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes as they relate to robotic welding for agricultural equipment. This role ensures products are built safely, efficiently, and to quality standards by working closely with design engineers and production teams. Duties include enhancing productivity, equipment usage, and boost production output and quality by refining robotic manufacturing capabilities, refining methods, processes, machine design, tooling, and equipment efficiency while seamlessly integrating cutting-edge manufacturing technologies for robotics, collaborating with design engineering, tooling specialists, and tool fabrication teams to develop and enhance product and tool designs for optimized robotic welding performance, and developing and implementing standard processes for workflows in robotic cells and work with production management and personnel to drive discipline and adherence to the process. A bachelor's degree in robotics, welding, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Candidates should have internship experience or up to four years of professional work in a heavy industrial setting. Five to ten years of experience in welding or robotics, particularly with systems such as Cloos, Fanuc, and IGM is preferred. Proficiency in welding techniques—MIG welding, spray transfer, and pulse welding—as well as fundamental robotic programming skills are essential. Experience using 3D CAD software required. Welding certification in MIG welding, spray transfer, and pulse techniques is desirable. Design experience with Pro-E Creo as the preferred platform. Fabrication experience is also plus.
- Technical Support Specialist (Electronics) – The Technical Support Specialist serves as the expert in electronics applications in KUHN products and is responsible for assisting the aftermarket group in resolving internal and external customer inquiries. Responsibilities include assisting dealers with electronic questions, troubleshooting and repairing scale and monitor components, and reviewing and processing electronics warranty claims and completing failure analysis. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, and hydraulics. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), Internet, and e-mail is preferred.
- Tooling Designer/Engineer – The Tooling Designer utilizes CAD software extensively and occasionally hand sketches to design welding, machining, and assembly fixtures for manufacturing. Duties include designing fixtures and tooling in Pro Engineer/CREO and making detailed 2D prints of all components; fabricating or modifying custom equipment, fixtures, and tooling for use in manufacturing; and introducing tooling and fixturing designs to custom fabrication and production and training employees on its proper use. Advanced education in engineering or manufacturing or three years’ experience in manufacturing required. The position requires and bachelor’s or associate’s degree in mechanical or agricultural engineering and knowledge and basic skills in the areas of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and CAD software. Pro Engineer/CREO experience is preferred.
