- Dealer Development Analyst – The Dealer Development Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and preparation of market data, including data related to sales programs and related activities that support the development and growth of the Kuhn North America dealer network in the US and Canada. Responsibilities include coordinating/analyzing industry data exchange through AEM, coordinating sales program tracking with internal groups, maintaining USDA and crop progress/commodity price metrics, coordinating/evaluating dealer network statistics, utilizing CRM database for reporting, and leading annual dealer qualification process and sales award program. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or administration; knowledge of the agricultural industry is preferred. Advanced application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Internet, mapping tools, survey tools, and e-mail is required. Experience/knowledge of database management software is preferred.
- Electronic Systems Technician – The Electronic Systems Technician will support the design and development of innovative electronic/electrical hardware and software products that provide high quality and reliable performance to our customers at a competitive cost. This position also serves as a resource for all electronic/electrical applications and lab test controls, and as a technical resource for product evaluation, design engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing by participating in design reviews and providing input and review of projects. The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology Management, or a related field and experience with or an educational emphasis on electronics and control systems. A farming background with knowledge of hay tool, spreader, mixer, seeding, and spraying technologies is preferred.
- Maintenance Manager – The Maintenance Manager plans, directs and coordinates various duties related to maintenance, repair services, and infrastructure improvements of land, plant, and equipment at the Brodhead campus. A Bachelor’s Degree in industrial technology, manufacturing engineering or other related degree with 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience is preferred or a vocational diploma in electro/mechanical maintenance and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of maintenance and repair experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience is acceptable. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in manufacturing equipment, such as electro-mechanical maintenance and repair of machine tools (including CNC), 480 volt 3 phase electrical power systems, hydraulic repairs & operating knowledge of fabrication tools (presses, shears, brakes & welders), HVAC system repair, basic plumbing, PC controls/diagnostics/troubleshooting, AC/DC servo drives & electric motors, overhead crane inspection/repair and paint systems troubleshooting/repair is required. Strong expertise in preventive maintenance strategies and their application in a manufacturing environment and a proven track record of reducing downtime and improving machinery efficiency through preventive measures is preferred.
- Marketing Communications Specialist – The Marketing Communications Specialist works closely with the Senior Shows and Visual Brand Specialist to support all KNA shows and events and the Human Resources team to support employee communications. The individual also coordinates lead management for shows and other CRM efforts and develops content for a variety of communication activities to promote the KNA message to employees and customers. A bachelor’s or associate degree in communications or agricultural/life sciences communications and a strong background/knowledge of the agricultural industry are preferred. Experience with Microsoft Suite programs, Photoshop and InDesign is preferred.
- Product Evaluation Engineer/Technician – The Product Evaluation Engineer/Technician performs various product performance evaluation and testing activities, including Kuhn/Kuhn Knight/Kuhn Krause products, competitive product benchmarking and new R& D projects. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering or technology is required. Extensive knowledge of material spreading, mixing and hay tool technology is preferred. Knowledge and experience in the areas of farm equipment engineering, testing, mechanics/repair, electricity, hydraulics, and welding is also preferred. 50% travel required.
- Technical Support Specialist (Electronics) – The Technical Support Specialist serves as the expert in electronics applications in KUHN products and is responsible for assisting the aftermarket group in resolving internal and external customer inquiries. Responsibilities include assisting dealers with electronic questions, troubleshooting and repairing scale and monitor components, and reviewing and processing electronics warranty claims and completing failure analysis. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, and hydraulics. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), Internet, and e-mail is preferred.
- Territory Manager (Sales – IL / N IN / SE IA) – We are currently seeking a Territory Manager who will be responsible for the management of all Kuhn North America sales activities in the assigned territory (Illinois, Northern Indiana & Southeast Iowa) including development of a strong dealer network to achieve market leadership, return on investment, control of assets, and sales objectives. The employee will be responsible for developing and maintaining the dealer network, serving as Company liaison with dealers/customers, leading dealer sales planning to grow territory sales, ensuring dealership sales/service personnel are trained on products and services, and representing Company at farm and equipment shows. The successful candidate will demonstrate his/her ability to be an independent, self-starter through the use of effective communication and organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering or business and a minimum of five years experience in sales within a dealer-oriented industry is preferred. Knowledge of agricultural and equipment industry, marketing and business management techniques, and communications software (ex: Microsoft Office, etc.) is required. The position is home office based in the assigned sales territory.
