  • Buyer – The Buyer is responsible for the use of tools and resources to negotiate and procure materials at the right time, cost, and quality to meet KNA standards. Specific duties include communication with vendors and internal customers to resolve supply chain challenges, identification and management of cost reduction projects and maintaining inventory to supply production demand. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field; a minimum of four years of related buying experience; and knowledge/experience with lean enterprise concepts, JIT and VMI programs is preferred. APICS or ISM certification is a plus. The candidate Must be familiar with steel fabrication and the types of materials purchased by KNA and have a comprehensive knowledge of purchasing, production, and inventory procedures.
  • Cost Accountant – The Cost Accountant performs a variety of costing, inventory, and other accounting duties to assist in the daily operations of the accounting department in accordance with the company’s quality standards. A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business (with emphasis in accounting) and two years related accounting experience is preferred. Strong skills in spreadsheet applications (Excel) required and SAP system experience, Outlook, and Word is preferred.  
  • Design Engineer – This position is responsible for design and development of components and subsystems based on customer needs, manufacturability, safety, and cost, including development and maintenance of BOMs for new and existing assemblies and products. Proficiency in CAD (Pro-E/CREO) and knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and machining is essential. A farm background is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering and ag/industrial design engineering experience is required.
  • Director of Finance – The Director of Finance is an executive position responsible for leading all financial activities for the range of KUHN operations in North America, including the financial strategy, planning, forecasting, analysis, and improvements to overall financial performance, and to ensure efficient operations for the functions of accounting, reporting, internal controls, risk management, and working capital management. The position requires education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, with a major in accounting and a minimum eight plus years related leadership experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing environment. Certified Public Accountant credentials, and/or a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Director of Operations – The Director of Operations leads, directs and manages overall manufacturing and support activities for manufacturing operations; including production, supply chain, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and facilities maintenance on a strategic level to achieve the most efficient production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost while meeting customer requirements. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or operations management and a minimum of eight years related manufacturing management experience with responsibility for manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory is preferred.  Knowledge of metal machining, fabricating, welding, and painting processes is required.
  • Electronic Systems Technician – The Electronic Systems Technician will support the design and development of innovative electronic/electrical hardware and software products that provide high quality and reliable performance to our customers at a competitive cost. The employee also serves as a resource for all electronic/electrical applications and lab test controls, and as a technical resource for product evaluation, design engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing by participating in design reviews and providing input and review of projects as directed. The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology Management, or a related field.  Experience with or an educational emphasis on electronics and control systems is also required.  A farming background with knowledge of hay tool, spreader, mixer, seeding, and spraying technologies is preferred. 
  • Field Support Representative (Rocky Mountain Area) We are currently seeking a Field Support Representative to support dealers in the state of Colorado and portions of Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas, in preventing and solving after sale service issues for products marketed by Kuhn North America. Responsibilities include serving as the after sales service representative for dealers in the region, responding in-person or via telephone to inquiries regarding questions on after sales service issues, product uses or applications, train dealership personnel on KNA services and service of products, supporting regional sales staff by working farm shows and demonstrating products, and perform field service campaigns. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology and knowledge of the ag. equipment industry is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, hydraulics, welding, and torch cutting. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), presentation software (PowerPoint) Internet, and e-mail is preferred. The position requires at least 70% travel in the region and is home-based within the noted region.
  • Field Support Representative (Western Canada) We are currently seeking a Field Support Representative to support dealers in the provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta & British Columbia, in preventing and solving after sale service issues for products marketed by Kuhn North America. Responsibilities include serving as the after sales service representative for dealers in the region, responding in-person or via telephone to inquiries regarding questions on after sales service issues, product uses or applications, train dealership personnel on KNA services and service of products, supporting regional sales staff by working farm shows and demonstrating products, and perform field service campaigns. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology and knowledge of the ag. equipment industry is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, hydraulics, welding, and torch cutting. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), presentation software (PowerPoint) Internet, and e-mail is preferred. The position requires at least 70% travel in the region and is home-based within the noted region.
  • Manufacturing Engineer – The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement in all manufacturing operations within an assigned product line and establishing and maintaining safe and efficient production processes, with the objective of reducing cost of manufacturing while improving quality. Activities include leading projects to analyze engineering designs, procurement procedures, manufacturing methods, staffing requirements and machine utilization, material routing and handling methods, tool design and application, etc., acting as project leader/liaison and coordinate activities with manufacturing production departments, production/inventory control and design engineering departments, developing manufacturing processes/procedures/work instructions and routings and developing economic justification for capital equipment. A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering and/or five years engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment is required. Technical competency in steel fabrication, welding, machining, or paint finishing and thorough knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes is also required. 
    3-D CAD knowledge required, Pro-E/Creo is preferred.
  • Parts & Service Manager – The Retail Store Parts & Service Manager is responsible for the management of all parts and service operations and personnel based at the Company’s retail store in Greeley, CO to maximize sales growth and support the overall Company goals. Duties include accountability for all store functions including personnel/customer safety, warehouse management, after sales, pre-delivery process, product support, truck mounting, shipping and receiving, proper data entry, and utilization of AS400, accounting software, and other KNA system tools used for wholegoods and parts inventory control, tracking and confirmations. A bachelor’s degree in business or marketing and/or a minimum of five years retail store parts and service management experience is preferred. Knowledge of farming/agriculture, experience in the heavy industrial or agricultural equipment industry, and knowledge of computer system use in warehouse management is also preferred.
  • Product Manager/Specialist (Balers & Wrappers) – The Product Specialist is responsible for the management of product life cycles of current products, the analysis of future business opportunities involving new products, developing and delivering product training, and acting as the Company product expert on select lines, assisting dealers/customers. A bachelor’s degree in ag/mechanical engineering, ag engineering technology or agribusiness or experience in product management/planning functions is required. Knowledge of hay tools is preferred. Extensive application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), presentation software (PowerPoint), planning (Project), Internet, and e-mail is required.
  • Product Specialist (Spreader Technologies) – The Product Specialist is responsible for the management of product life cycles of current products, the analysis of future business opportunities involving new products, developing and delivering product training, and acting as the Company product expert on select lines, assisting dealers/customers. A bachelor’s degree in ag/mechanical engineering, ag engineering technology or agribusiness or experience in product management/planning functions is required. Knowledge of spreader products is preferred. Extensive application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), presentation software (PowerPoint), planning (Project), Internet, and e-mail is required. 
  • Service Parts Distribution Manager – The Service Parts Distribution Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the Parts Distribution Warehouse team to ensure timely receiving, storage, and shipment of service parts orders to the Kuhn North America (KNA) dealer network and other Kuhn warehouses. In addition, he/she will assist with the exploration, development, implementation, and execution of new and improved concepts, processes, and practices within the parts warehouse. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration and a minimum of three years related parts warehouse management and inventory control experience is preferred.  Intermediate user level of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail, and ERP software is required.
  • Technical Support Specialist – As a member of the Product Support team, this individual serves as the technical expert for set group of products (rakes & mergers) and supports KNA personnel and dealers in resolving after sales service issues. Responsibilities include collaborating with other KNA departments to diagnose & resolve service and performance issues, reviewing and processing warranty claims, developing service bulletins and service instructions, along with creating and presenting training material. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, and hydraulics.
  • Technical Support Specialist (Electronics) – The Technical Support Specialist serves as the expert in electronics applications in KUHN products and is responsible for assisting the aftermarket group in resolving internal and external customer inquiries. Responsibilities include assisting dealers with electronic questions, troubleshooting and repairing scale and monitor components, and reviewing and processing electronics warranty claims and completing failure analysis. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, and hydraulics. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), Internet, and e-mail is preferred.
