On Excelerator XT vertical tillage machines, you can adjust machine depth, front and rear gang angle, wing down pressure, Star Wheel™ pressure and front / rear leveling from any compatible ISOBUS display.

For Dominator combination disc rippers, you can adjust machine depth, coulter pressure, disc conditioner depth, and conditioning reel from any compatible ISOBUS display. Redundant sensors are fitted to gang angle and depth circuits for backup in case of failure, and a machine equipped with Smart Soil Technology can always be converted back to manual mode, so an electronics failure will not result in a machine down situation. A true plug and play solution despite tractor brand and with no additional compatibility hardware required.

Control from the Cab

All functions are easily controlled electronically from the ISOBUS display allowing the operator to fine tune tillage machines to match field conditions and working speed and view exact settings on the display. Adjustments can be made from the tractor cab for precise adjustment to suit field conditions and maintaining the same capabilities as machines not equipped with Smart Soil Technology.

Ergonomic Comfort

When raising and lowering the machine on end rows or for transport, the operator still uses the tractor SCV control. This maximizes ergonomic comfort and familiarity for one of the most frequent operations.

Customizable Presets

8 Customizable Presets

Operators can store favorite settings for all functions using 8 customizable presets and then quickly switch between them during operation. A preset only mode can be used where the customer wishes to limit the operator’s ability to adjust the machine only between predetermined settings.

AEF Certified

ISOBUS equipment certified by the AEF is included in the online database. The customer can verify compatibility of ISOBUS functions between the machine and the terminal to be used. A true plug and play solution despite tractor brand and with no additional compatibility hardware required.

Equipment

SST Tractor Interface Center (TIC)

The TIC for SST machines houses the hydraulic blocks, solenoid valves, Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and ISOBUS harness. The TIC is completely assembled and tested at the factory to ensure connections are correct before the machine ships.

Sensors

Sensors are fitted with plastic covers which protect them from the environment and help ensure reliability in the field. Lift and gang circuits feature multiple sensors allowing the system to alert the operator should cylinders be out of phase and to provide redundancy in the event a sensor gets damaged.

CCI Display

Customers requiring an ISOBUS display to run the SST system have the option of purchasing one of the KUHN CCI terminals. Available in 2 sizes, 8” (CCI 800) or 12” (CCI 1200), these fully touch screen displays offers some of the greatest versatility and functionality on the market. Customers who do not have an ISOBUS ready tractor can also purchase the KUHN ISOBUS tractor harness and a GNSS receiver to full convert their tractor ready for Smart Soil Technology.
