The Verti-Maxx Patented Bull Gear Drive System
takes simplicity to the next level with fewer moving parts than any other
competitive vertical mixer. The driveline drives the simple right-angle gearbox
for initial drive reduction. The massive bull and pinion gears are made of
hardened steel that run in an enclosed oil bath to provide simple, trouble-free
operation and is more cost effective compared to right-angle planetary
gearboxes.

Bull Gear Drive: Main Drive Components
Enclosed Oil Bath
The entire rugged
drive is lubricated continuously by the oil slinger mounted underneath the
pinion gear.
The oil bath is
sealed with a gasket and silicone sealer to help prevent oil
contamination, then pressure tested to ensure that there are no leaks.
Right-Angle Gearbox
The dependable right-angle
gearbox works in conjunction with the pinion gear to turn the auger at an optimum speed for best mixing results.
The simple, heavy-duty gearbox has only two gears and offers a full two-year
warranty.
Pinion Gear
The hardened steel pinion gear is splined to the right-angle gearbox shaft
for durability and easy service.
The dependable pinion gear is reversible to double the life of the gear
and has a full two-year warranty.

The fully-welded tub provides superior strength and durability. A stainless
liner option is available for high-use applications.
2. PTO Driveline Protection
Small models are protected from shock and heavy loads by a shear
bolt, while large models use a unique automatic resetting clutch.
3. Discharge Options
The simple, hydraulically-controlled slide tray works well for
drive-through feed alleys.
The 3-auger discharge has adjustable height for high bunk feeding. The simple
drive and replaceable liners provide years of service.
The chain and slat discharge is also used for high bunk feeding and is offered
to handle difficult, high-hay rations.
4. Adjustable Hay Stops
Multiple settings allow for adjustment in a variety of rations for
fast, efficient hay processing and help eliminate overprocessing.

An eight-inch extension option improves hay containment while
