5100 Series Vertical Maxx® TMR Mixers

New 5100 Series Models 

The 5132, 5144, 5156, and 5168 are the newest vertical twin mixer models designed for dairy and beef operators with new features to help producers mix and place a quality ration in front of their animals. Changes were made to the tub design, vertical mixing auger, discharge location, discharge conveyor, drive system and mixer dimensions. These enhancements improve mix quality, discharge consistency and loading height. The new, larger 5156 and 5168 models were added to meet the needs of growing operations in a rapidly changing agriculture industry. 

Twin - Auger Design

• The two augers move material up the flighting which produces a boiling action and also moves material end-to-end to quickly mix all feedstuffs.

• Two adjustable high/low position hay stops provide different settings in high hay rations for faster processing.

Versatile for Mixing All Rations

• The shiftable dual-side front cross conveyor can be used for floor feeding or various bunk feeders and is conveniently controlled with one set of hydraulics.

• The larger door opening provides better feed flow, especially with 100% hay or bulky feed rations, and also allows for faster unloading.

• The optional hay-retention ring allows the mixer to run faster during processing and significantly reduces hay spillage.

 

Front Cross Conveyor

• This conveyor can be mounted to discharge to the left or right, with or without an incline on one side, and provides a consistent, more even discharge.

• The hydraulic side shift is standard equipment and allows the operator to hydraulically shift the conveyor from side to side up to 8" from center for accurate feed placement.

   

Auger Discharge Kicker

 • An auger discharge kicker has been added to both augers to improve feed discharge consistency, unload time and cleanout speed.

 Straight-Drive Planetary System (5132 & 5144)

• The Straight-Drive Planetary System provides simplicity for lower feeding cycle applications and is protected so the operator cannot overload either planetary. Available on models 5132 and 5144. 

Split-Drive Planetary System (5156 & 5168)

• The exclusive Split-Drive Planetary System provides the ultimate drive protection and consists of two planetary gearboxes, 
a split-drive gearbox, and two torque disconnect PTOs. Available on models 5156 and 5168.
