Kuhn Knight Introduces Two New Large Side-Discharge Spreader Models

Kuhn Knight, Inc. of Brodhead, Wisconsin, introduces the new model 8141 and 8150 ProTwin® Slingers®. These 4,100- and 5000-gallon models are now available for large dairy and confined feedlot producers who want a spreader with large capacity, fast unloading rate and a good spread pattern. The ProTwin Slinger can spread a wider range of materials than any other spreader. In manure applications, the ProTwin can spread pen pack, semi-solid, slurry or gutter manure with ease. In bedding applications, the ProTwin has free-swinging, forged-steel hammers that evenly distribute all types of bedding, including composted manure, sand, sawdust, wood chips, grain hulls, chopped straw, corn fodder, or any free-flowing material you choose. ProTwin Slinger sizes range from 1,000 to 5,000 gallons with the 8150 now being the largest V-Body spreader in the industry.
