uhn Knight, Inc., of Brodhead, Wisconsin, introduces the new 8100 series ProTwin Slingers. Key improvements include the Bedder Spreader, now as standard equipment, to control the spread pattern near fence lines, on contour strips, by roadways, and on windy days. The through-hardened universal hammers improve the spread pattern and improve hammer wear characteristics by as much as 30%. Heavier flighting and hoppers are now included on the two midsize units for more durability and longer life. The newly-designed front oil bath shield on the larger models provides a better oil seal and allows for convenient removal.
