New Kuhn Knight Box Spreaders
Kuhn North America, Inc., of Brodhead, Wisconsin, introduces the new PS 150 and 160 ProSpread® box spreaders that will be available in Spring of 2009. These models set the new standard for reliability and spreading performance to meet the changing needs of livestock producers and have capacities of 500 and 600 heaped cubic feet respectively.
The durable, all-welded construction and solid poly floor of the ProSpread remain, but the new, simple, protected center driveline improves dependability and reduces maintenance. The toughest solid materials from dairy and feedlot operations can be spread quickly and evenly with the hydraulically-controlled, variable-speed apron. Optional vertical beaters provide a consistent, wide spread pattern and superior material breakup to help maximize the value of manure nutrients.
